Hello!
I dont know if this is the right place to post this or not, i hope so!
I've been blogging for a year now and its a beauty and lifestyle blog. However i blog 5 days a week and i spend about roughly 30 hours blogging. I have high quality photos too.
How can i become a full time blogger? Alot of people always ask but never actually get the answer so im asking you, some of you may have a better understanding anyway!
What is the first step i need to take, ive tried to set up google ads but for some reason they just don't work on my blog!
Thanks in advance!

You would probably be best off posting a link to your blog.
Adsense would be my first recommendation like you have tried.0 -
You wont be able to post link on here as it could be deemed as self promotion. You probably wont get much help from professional bloggers as that could be deemed as given the game away so to speak and more competition for them0

Google Adsense would be the first step to take.
Have you ever been offered sponsored blogposts? Have you been invited/attended any events?
I think it really depends on how many unique views you are getting per post/month. Interacting with readers is also a key. Start by building up a media kit to offer to companies.
It seems that the closer you are to London, the more likely you are to succeed at making it at full time beauty/lifestyle blogging.I AM DEBT FREE!0 -
For a blog to make you money via ads, you need a strong userbase and click rate. Ad Sense won't consider you unless you have this in place0

Have a book ghost written

I think adsense has to be first port of call for any blog looking to quickly monetise.
Then it would be affiliate links to products you have reviewed and if you have enough traffic tenancy agreements with some merchants in the relevant sectors. You're going up against a lot of blogs though and all the Vloggers. Would need a unique angle I think.
I don't think there are rules about posting a link to your blog? PM me it if you want instead.0 -
Have you checked out the UK Bloggers subforum for help/advice for new starters?
That's where I have stealthy been getting my tips from

Self promotion is not allowed on MSE. You can link to your blog or website on your profile though
As long as you don't direct peopl to it. I know this as I've had posts removed for doing so :rotfl: This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If you search for "Marcus Campbell 7 day blog profits 2014" there's a free download that takes you through the steps to setting up a profitable blog with affiliate offers etc. which gives good advice.
If you have good (original) photos then Pinterest is a useful way to get traffic to your blog. Also set up a facebook page and a Twitter account. Once you have a good amount of traffic you can apply to Adsense again but you may find affiliate offers more profitable.Thank-you to everyone who posts comps :beer:0 -

Longships there seem to be quite a few sites talking about that Marcus Campbell i've not ready everything yet but many people are calling him a scammer, even the polite ones say he's a pushy salesman who wont be there if you need advice, once he has your money. Just take care if you drcide to buy something.
There's someone else (forget his name) who does a free 31 day free blogging course, sending you an email a day for a month.
Update:
That guys name ....... Darren Rouse .... ProbloggerLiverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
