Moving to Hampshire

We are looking for somewhere to live in Hampshire, within 30 mins (off peak) of Swanwick, nr Southampton. Requirements are, nice village, small town, good schools, infant through to secondary, great walks for our three dogs that are not close to roads - one dog likes to roam occasionally!

Have you thought about Cadnam and Bartley near Southampton? Nice area, onn the edge of the New Forest. Good schools.
Might be worth a look. Mind you, there are some nice areas nearer to Swanwick, just that I don't know that much about them.

have you thought about whiteley? 3 miles to swanwick,excellant school,good walks through specially built walkways and cycle paths.There are also open fields and parks for the dogs.I've lived here 6 yrs and love it.By the way it's just off the M27,but you wouldnt know it was there!! Great place to be as you are near Portsmouth(11 miles) and Southampton(8 miles).Come and see for yourself.
