Free Electral role search *help*

Is there any way i can do a free electoral role search?
There used to be website that offered it but now i cant find them

The one site that offered the free search located my family member
but then the contact info was blanked out.

I cant afford to buy a uk info disk at over £200 and i cant travel to the town to search their local electoral register.

Any advice would be grate

I've used http://www.b4usearch.com/ before - looks like they are undergoing maintenance atm however!
  • its been that way for a long time. I also tried 192.com but they charge i think its bad its free to go to a library to search but yet these people make money out of it.

Yep 192 charge, they used to give free credits for signing up, not sure if that's still the case. As Jeewhizz points out b4usearch isn't really running at the moment. Not so much maintenance but because they've been ordered by the ICO to stop using illegal information (it was not sourced from the electoral roll, it even had my mum's details and she's not even on the electoral roll) and so are now trying to put only the legal recent electoral roll on the site.

Why don't you contact your local reference library to see if they have UK Info Disk?

Friends Reunited costs - thought only about £10, and only if you find the person you are looking for on the site and the only way to email them is to pay FR.
