Male/Female - How much? TakeII

I sarted [url=http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=411459]this thread[/url] a few months ago and thought it was about time we had another!

Also would be interesting to see if anyone has moved up or down. I hope down!!!!

    when i first did the poll i was 10-20k in debt and now i am less than 10k :)

    There was a news report this week and it reckoned that the average under 25 year old owed approximately 15k - which is pretty scarey!

    Does this include student loans? I don't include mine in my signature & targets as it goes straight from my salary...

    Looking at the poll, lots more women that men in debt. Scary though seeing as we earn less and work less due to childcare commitments.

    I think it's just that women are more likely to use internet chat boards than men.

    Don't think i voted on the first thread. But now I'm under 10k in debt, in fact less than 3k, down from 20k.

    I think perhaps the higher numbers of females voting could be due to the time of day or indeed the male/female split of the membership of the forum??
