Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to post it on the forum as it would be against forum rules to do so.

  • If I won i'd either build an extension or move to a bigger house as we need more room.

Haven't won, but I'd pay off cc, pay off mortgage & get the garden sorted.

For any prize up to at least £20,000 you have a better chance of winning on the lottery than ITV although not for free.

Really? Is this fact? I don't believe it.

The odds of winning 1 of the 50 lotto raffle £20,000 prizes on a Wednesday are better than 170,000 to 1, the odds against winning an itv prize anywhere near that value are almost certainly much higher and of course with the lotto there are all the smaller value prizes as well.

Lotto Hotpicks are far better again, odds of only just over 14,000 to 1 for a £7,000 prize will be miles better than any itv one for a similar size prize and so will the odds of just under 320,000 to 1 for a £130,000 prize (bookmakers give an even higher return on their bets for the same type of thing)

    Some old ITV numbers
During a four year period from 2003 to 2007 GMTV received 62 million competition entries, that's equal to 15.5 million a year, almost 300,000 a week or over 42,500 a day

Thank you for your email dated 07 December 2014 regarding The Lotto Raffle.

With regards to The Lotto Raffle, the rules changed from the 22 November 2014. There are now 50 prizes of £20,000 in addition to any other prizes that may be on offer for special draw events. This is also the case when The Lotto is rolling. Changing the amount of Raffle Prizes has enabled us to offer special prizes for special events.

For example, to celebrate 20 years of The National Lottery in November, the Lotto raffle will be creating an incredible 20 millionaires in one night – guaranteed, which will be on top of the normal 50 raffle prizes of £20,000.

Changing The Lotto Raffle has also enabled us to have 500 guaranteed £20,000 Raffle Winners on Christmas Eve.

I hope this has clarified the matter for you and may I take this opportunity to wish you the best of luck playing National Lottery games in the future.
    thanks to all posters

If I won ITV I would give a very large endowment to Charity.
(She's my girl friend then I would think about spending the money)

  • I would go renew our wedding vows abroad where we got married or if a larger amount would move house or get an extension or loft conversion and/or new kitchen and/or bathroom. I can dream. Lol.

If it was a small amount like a few thousand, I'd probably pay off a credit card, if it was a bigger amount like this week ending £80k from GMB i'd pay of all debts, and a chunk of the mortgage. The at the end of the month there is the £200k Loose Women comp, that is a life changing amount, thats all debt, and mortgage and cars paid off too, and still a pile left over.
I WILL win an Itv comp soon. I will, I will, I will.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
