Best month to buy different items

Hi all,
I'd be really grateful for your help. I recall seeing a website, which may well have been MSE, listing the best month in which to buy different things e.g. electrical appliances, garden equipment. The purpose of which was to show that it may not be best to buy a new lawnmower in Summer!
If this "calendar" rings a bell or it is indeed on MSE and I just can't find it then please let me know! Big house move and baby on the way, I'd love to save by buying wisely.
