Better Homes

I had this crowd out for a quote about a year ago and since then I keep getting calls from them. I have emailed them and told them when they ring, to remove me from their list. They keep calling, any ideas on how to get rid of these pests?

Write to Davy Boyd at their Dargon address and tell them you are going to make a data protection complaint if they contact you again. Or do make a complaint. They are a nightmare.

Will try that and see..not hopeful
  • I have been pestered by this company for about 4 years even though I am registered with TPS. I have asked numerous times to be removed from their calling list but still get calls. They always show up as 'Private number', but I confirm who they are.
I wrote to them quoting section 11 of the Data Protection Act 1998 asking to be removed from their list.............calls stopped for about 3 months but started up again. I have wrote to them again to give me some evidence for I.C.O.
TPS were not very helpful and you do wonder who they are there to serve...........

if you Know who is calling before you answer the phone ,just say "this is the police you have called a crime scene ,how do you know this person ,dont hang up sir/madam we will need your contact details ."
Then in a loud voice "could someone take a photograph of the body ".
"sir/madam are you still there "
