Renewing Santander Mortgage Online

Hi guys
I was wondering if anyone has recently renewed their mortgage online with Santander?

Mine is up for renewal in March so I only have three payments left to make before the deal I am on expires.

I have seen that you can do this online, but when I enter my mortgage account number it keeps saying not recognised and to call them.

Before I call them and end up on the phone for ages running up my bill (no landline) I just want to check Im not putting in the information wrong.

My account number is showing as 1234/567/891011121/XYZ on the paperwork. I have also tried without the / but nothing.

Any ideas?

    Should it be prefixed with a sort code number starting 09-XX-XX or "ANMF"?

    Is your 567 actually 862? If so, I think it's an ANMF product.

  • correct, its an 862 number. Ended up having to call them as couldn't do it online and searching google kept drawing up calling them so I use the no to 0800 thingy.

    My SIL is a financial advisor and said it was best to stick with them after we looked at the options after going through it all with her.

    Their guy on the phone came to the same recommended mortgage as we did (she was sat next to me on the call and already knew the best by the time we were ready to apply) so all is good i guess.

    Only downside was the trying to sell me stuff at the end.
