E: 12/12 6pm Win £10,000 (Text)

Wave 105

Text HIT followed by your answer A B C or D to 61025.

Answer: D) Eileen

Texts cost £1.50 plus your standard network rate.

For every second text entry you make, an extra free entry will automatically be entered.

For example:

1st text = 1 entry (1 charged at £1.50 + std network rate).
2nd text = 2 entries (1 charged at £1.50 + std network rate and 1 not charged)
3rd text = 1 entry (1 charged at £1.50 + std network rate).
4th text = 2 entries (1 charged at £1.50 + std network rate and 1 not charged) etc

This special offer must be claimed on the same day of original first text and will not carry over to another competition.

Just noticed that the Ts and Cs contradict the charging info. In the info above which Laks has copied from the comp page, it basically says that every 2nd entry is free, but in the small print it says that every 3rd entry is free:

Entry: SMS messages for entry into our £10,000 Christmas Bonus or £2,000 Friday must be sent to the short code 61025. Messages must begin with the keyword HIT followed by a space then your answer, A, B, C or D. Confirmation of message receipt will be sent from 80876. Every third entry is free.

** Update - actually it's just really confusing, I've emailed them and they're going to try and make it clearer (plus the comp page mentioned both £10,000 and £2,000 as the prize amounts, in different parts of the page)

I think you're misreading Lakshmi's. Says the same thing to me.

This line here "For every second text entry you make, an extra free entry will automatically be entered." means that when you pay for a second text, you will get a third free. And this line here "2nd text = 2 entries (1 charged at £1.50 + std network rate and 1 not charged)" means the same.

I think you're reading it that you have to actually send a third text for that to be free - that's wrong. You send just two and that gives you three entries. Clarifying in case people are sending more than they need to!
