Cutting a long story short; I need warm clothes!
I've looked around (Sports Direct, Primark...) but either nothing I find looks good, it doesn't fit properly (am fairly small atm it would seem), it's poor quality and thins to nothing after the first wash (Primark, market stall stuff) or it's too over priced (Superdry stuff feels really good quality but the price is so high!).
I love the Uniqlo Heat-Tech stuff and have a few of the long sleeved tops but I need something more!(eg thicker) I am shamelessly looking for things like tracksuits which look decent enough to wear outside and which don't fall apart or thin to jersey wear after the first few washes.

head to somewhere like go outdoors... it depends on your budget of course, Rab, Montane, North face are at the top end, whereas higear or north ridge are GO's own brand, and the north ridge range is surprisingly good. I know you say tracksuit style, but you may be surprised at what you find.0

I get my fleece tops from Regatta, the prices go up and down but at some point in the year they are 2 for £10, or £5.99 each. I've had some of mine for 8 years (when I first got my dog) and they have pilled a bit but are still warm and soft. I wear Primark leggings under my jeans, cos I have tried but failed to find warm trousers to walk the dog. I tried buying Primark thermal leggings but they are too big and baggy.

TKMaxx have lots of outdoor gear in at the moment.
Jeans are hopeless for keeping warm and dry when dog walking. Fleece lined outdoor trousers are a better option.0
