Hiya.
We are buying my fathers house ( he passed away and left it to 3 of us)
Now there is a old caravan in the yard. probely need alot of work to it, but surlely someone must want to take it and use it?
We rang places out of the phone book see if they want to take it away but got told they only deal with upto date caravans.
So then rang a few scrap yards and only 2 said they will scrap it. first 1 £200 2nd 1 £500!!!!
Anyone know of anyone that might want it or what to do with it? in the Blackpool area?
Cheers for any advice

You could put an ad in the local paper 'free to collector' (I assume that the scrap yards want you to pay for them to take it away.)0

I have been looking for an old caravan (but I live no where near you so its not use to me!). They sell for a few hundred pounds on ebay, they also get snapped up on freecycle.... and yes, these are the ones that need work!
Try listing it on ebay for a start price of 99p and I bet it will sell for £100 or more! There is currently a 'do upper' I am watching in my area and its up to £120 with a few days left.2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0
