Need URGENT Help

Okay so here's how it is, Im unemployed and really need work either if it is internet work, i would do anything for a job im not recieving any benefits or nothing, i have a kid i need to clothe and i need to feed my self and pay my rent or ill be out of the house in a month. Ive tried applying everywhere round my local area just nothing as such, does anyone know any internet job's if there is any available? Im so desprate please someone help!

My local mcdonalds is 21 mile away, its hard to get round some place's but i wudnt mind a telephone job or internet job. If not then im gunna have to apply for the labouring job about 16 mile away

Why are you not receiving benefits when you have a child?.

You must have child allowance at least, plus job seekers as a bare minimum. Also, Housing benefit is paid to anyone who is renting and not working so suggest you contact your local council and apply for that to at least keep the roof over your head. Get onto their register and also talk to your debtors about repayment terms if you can.

On a critical point, your first post says you'll do anything to get a job but then reject the idea of working in McDonalds 21 miles away. I work 60 miles away from where I live, yes I have a car, but it is still 4 hours of my life wasted in traffic every single day - but I need to work.

When you refer to internet work, you need to be more speciifc. If you mean data entry jobs then agencies and job centres will always have those advertised on the board. I doubt a call centre job will be of use to you - they are highly pressurised and quite skilled environments to be in. Internet jobs are mainly skilled ones so you'll need qualification to break into these, unless you know people who can help you personally.

So I suggest Jobcentre (they do have adverts for jobs, honest!), enrol with some agencies. If you prefer to do things via the internet, then visit some online jobsites such as www.jobsite.co.uk www.jobserve.com (good for IT jobs), www.gisajob.com www.monster.co.uk for starters.

I'd be inclined to agree TruePat.

Looking at his posting history, apart from a sarcastic offer of loaning a debt-ridden MSE poster £21, it appears he was out of work in June 2006 also and when it was suggested he work at the local supermarket the excuse given was that it was 8 miles away and when that was challenged it was becuase the store was a two-bit shop with three staff in it.

Unless this is a case of crying wolf too often, sounds like the re-birth of Student Phil/PhilBot.

Danfx - if its of any interest - I saw an advert on the stage website advertising for sms messages/calls (naughty things I think). im sure there is a thread somewhere about a similar job. from what I can gather its decent money and the hours are flexible - you can also work from home.
