Doesn't help that I really hate where I'm temping and this time of year there's not much about. I just don't have any energy left anymore for all the time and energy it takes for applications and interviews to get nowhere.
Hey 3 months of knockbacks is not that bad, try 3 years without a single interview, that was what happened to me before I got my job at KFC, so my advice is hang in there
Also I agree with the people who are saying make as many applications as possible, it eventually worked for me, as did voluntary work
You have to have a positive attitude to job hunting, you should be like "well I didn't get that one, but I know I will get one soon", 3 lost opportunities is not the end of the world0 -
You must be doing something right! Keep going
For the job I currently have, my feedback to my agent was that I didnt appear enthusiastic enough (although clearly skilled for the post) ...thankfully I had called the agent immediately after interview, and I was gushing with the opportunity, she immediately advised the company that I was clearly the most enthusiastic of her three candidates put forward (exclusive head hunt). I dreaded interview 2 (2 candidates) and 3 (interview with senior director, one candidate) as I couldnt change my personality overnight, but I got there, you will too!0
