Beauty gadgets you would not buy again

Hi all
As we are coming up to Christmas I thought I would start a thread about beauty gadgets we have bought that did not live up to expectations. Maybe we can prevent some expensive mistakes!

So I start with
Remington i light pro laser hair removal system- simply does not work

Babyliss Pro Curling wand- burnt myself so often!

Any more to add?

GHDs - they work but there are far cheaper alternatives that do the job just as well.

helcat, the wand comes with a heat resistant glove - that will solve your problem!

Those things that look like dumbells that you shake with both hands. Still don't fully understand how that is meant to help... lol

    Shake weight.
But it looks like you're doing something naughty and makes your boobs jiggle like mad.
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

An epilator. I'm sure it would have been brilliant if I'd been able to stand the pain but I just couldn't!

I have the Boots version, complete waste of money, cost around £300

The NoNo! hair removal system. Used it every other day for 6 months. Didn't make a scrap of difference when I stopped using it.

    Think it was about £150!

Foot Spa, Facial Sauna, Electric Toothbrush any kind of hair straighteners, facial brush systems, epilator (ouch!) even lady shaves as Venus razors and waxing are so much better...Various types of hair devices like hot air curlers waste of time for me...

Ooh I love mine! I don't do anything exciting with it but find it really helps drying my hair decently. I struggle to hold a hairdryer though.
