Just a heads up for all those joining blockbuster through Quidco. It seems they charge £2 to your card upon registering for the free trial. Not sure what the bleep for as it is not stated openly in the T&C. Only found out as I used my debit card to register (whilst it was sporting a ultra low clearing balance) and it wouldn't go through so phoned up A&L and they said that was why.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0

Just holler if it is needed!
if you go to lovefilm through quidco and change the promotion code from one thats allready in the box when lovefilm opens up quidco wont track and you want get paid as your using another offer....it tells you this on the quidco page before you"shop with this merchant" so i wouldnt put in in offer codes apart from the one thats allready in the box when you sign up0 -

Think the cashback has been reduced now to 85 - cant find the offer I got.
It was tracked within about 3-4 days, and the money is due to be paid in this pay run - about 2 months after.
Ther are two options for the L&G ISA - eithe a lump sum of £500, or a monthly payment of £50. I went for a tracker with a monthly payment, due to the low fees - trackers between companies are very similar, they essenitally buy shares in either the FTSE 100, or 350 (a group of the largest 100 or 350 largest companies in the UK), but there are people round here far more qualified to comment. At the minute, I have my money from quidco - £110, and the money I have invested - ~£100 (although might be slightly les due to the recent stock market changes - though might be more), so am looking at a double my money scheme. :-)
With a tracker, inho, I am not an expert in this field, and dont take this as advice, but I would be amazed if it dropped by more than 20% - Over the past 60 years iirc, the rate of return on the stock market has been about 7-8%. In short, even with the reduced cashback, as long as L&G pay out, and you follow the 2 monthly payments of 50 I think its worthwhile.
HTH, let me know if you want any more info.
Just one more thing - you can only invest in one stocks and shares isa a year - dont worry if you already have a cash isa, they are differentNo longer an accidental landlord, still a wannabe millionaire:beer:
