Paypal deposits are subject to 1.5% charge same as credit card deposits so u need to deposit 10.16 to be safe.

Fortunately I did deposit 10.16 but it hasnt' tracked. Perhaps it's because I deposited after 5pm. Fingers crossed it will go through tomorrow. Thanks again to the tipster:beer:

OMG, I don't know if i'm just incredibly stupid or something, but Betfair looks mind-bogglingly complex!

Being Welsh I would like to bet my £10 (Quidco deposit) that we win against France tomorrow in the Six Nations.
The slight problem with this is, I don't have the faintest idea how to do that, seeing as the website seems just a mess of numbers with random words like 'Lay' and 'match' scattered through it.
Would some kind soul be able to tell me how I can give them £10 to bet Wales win? Or that we win the Grand Slam, or anything really?

    Confused of South Wales

Edit: aha! I removed a tick box that said 'Back and Lay', and half the stuff disappeared, so you could only bet for something happening. Then I clicked on the match and Wales, wrote '10' in the box, and I appear to have bet £10 that Wales will win, and will get £6.70 if they do. Hope this helps someone else.

    Go Wales!

Ive tested a horse and a football match, minimum bet appears to be 2.00.

"if" that is the case u would have to deposit 10.00, do 2.00 min bet and then withdraw 9.00 back again. check min withdrawal, if its min 10.00 then deposit 11.00 so that u can withdraw 10.00.

Thats why i like the idea of playing the whole 10.00 deposit in one go.;)

    Hi again

Ok, I have withdrawn £10 as this was as much as Betfair said I could withdraw as I couldn't withdraw more than I had deposited. Does this mean that I have to deposit more money to get the other £8.83 out or do I just have to wait until tomorrow to try again?

Now you see why I will only be doing this as a one off as I haven't a clue what I am doing with online betting - LOL

    Thanks for any help
    Marie :)

I previously opened a betfair account via an incentive elsewhere.

On that occasion i won the bet i placed, i found it only allowed a certain amount to be withdrawn each day, so i withdrew over 2 days. ( not sure if their is a minimum withdrawal though)

( if their is a min withdrawal of 10.00 u would have to deposit say 12.00 then withdraw 10.00 one day and then withdraw 10.83 another day. ;) )
