Apparently you do not have to be a customer of Virgin now just say a friend recomended you. Sorry Not on Quidco at the moment, were last month, but gone at the moment.

but sent 2 text messages to them to use a sim for registering this morning, but haven't received a message/code back yet,

has anyone done this? if so how long did you wait for your text reply? it says seconds on the site.

I've done it. Got the reply in seconds. I needed a min of £5.50 in virgin PAYG to do it. (the reply costs £5)

I'd be very wary of requesting it multiple times as if you get X replies at £5 a pop I doubt you'll be best pleased.

I tried once, waited an hour or so then tried again, wonder why I haven't had a reply, I've checked and £1 has come of the credit, so the texts seem to have gone through ok
I only had £7 on the sim anyway-it was a freebie;) .

PS. I did this via Quidco and worked fine. Text within 30 secs and tracking in my Quidco account within a couple of hours. Card arrived approx. 7 days later.

Just for info, Nationwide Home Insurance tracks nice and quickly - did on Sunday and already showing as tracked in my account. I've also managed to save £2 a month so coupled with the £70 cashback, thats a lovely earner ! :T
