Hi going to join quidco asap bit worried about giving bank details or do you think paypal is safer? What do you thinkregards

you only need to give your sort code and account number - that's no more information than appears on a cheque.

    Thats good.

I'm still waiting for things to track so think it'll be a while before I get my next payment.

have just changed my payment method from paypal to bank credit...

hopefully it will work for the next payment as my next month is going to be over the paypal £50 limit.
  • I've got to say, i only joined Quidco a few days ago and already i love it! I got £100 on a new Home Insurance policy from Natwest (and was £10 a month cheaper than i was paying before :p) and £25 on switching to O2 Broadband from pipex.

Also, not sure if this is the right place to mention this, but if you currently have an O2 mobile contract you get £5 discount on O2 B/band and if your like me and spend more than £50 and are premium customer you get another £5 off each month, so i;m getting the 16Mb Unlimited package for £10 a month :D

How often do you get payments back from Quidco? i've set it up to pay via BACS but it doesnt say how regular you get payments

You can go and set your payment limits, which is under you username and settings. You can set the payment limit, so if you want to save the money for a holiday and you did not want to receive a payment until you got to £500 you could set it at £500. As to how often you get paid will depend on what your payment limit is and on which merchants you use as most have a different payout time. Normally the payment time is what the merchant states, but normally you get paid at the end of each month.

    Hope this helps.

i got a payment through off of quidco from a mobile i ordered (and was subsequently cancelled as it was a mis-price) in november (got the payment through today)

can i keep that payment or will it have to go back to quidco?
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
  • You can get a free PAYG mobile phone via Quidco - kind of. Bear with me on this one .....

    1. Use the Tesco PAYG merchant on Quidco. For this you get £6 cashback.
    2. There are about 40 PAYG mobile phones on the Tesco website. The cheapest is currently on offer at 25% off at £14.97 (a Motorola F3 - not very high spec).
    3. There is also an offer running until 24/2/08 of a free £10 airtime voucher for certain phones under £50 (this includes the Motorola).
    4. There is another offer running at the moment of free delivery on mobile phones (a further saving of £5).
    5. When you add the phone to your basket the airtime voucher is automatically added. When you come to pay the total should be just £14.97.

So the phone cost £14.97, less the £6 cashback from Quidco and £10 airtime. You could convert the £10 airtime to cash using the various options mentioned elsewhere on the forum e.g. Splashcard, Jamster.

You also get 14 clubcard points.

I know the phone isn't brilliant, but I'll use mine when out on the mountain bike.

PS. A tip when ordering. When you get to the delivery option screen leave the default standard delivery checked - it looks like you have to pay at this stage, but when you get to the payment screen you will see the delivery charge has been removed.

    Serious Quidco problem

Signed up to Pruhealth in July and it tracked and was validated payment expected Dec 2007. All good I though so waited for it to land. December came and no cashback so thought it was just going to take a little while longer but nothing to worry about.

Anyhow popped into Quidco today and had a look at my July entries and PruHealth is showing as PAID in Dec at a total sum of 0.00 :eek::eek: - As I was expecting £115 this is decidedly a lot less than I was expecting. Have now submitted a ticket and hope Quidco get on this pronto. I could have got gym membership a LOT cheaper than what I have been paying pru health the past 6+ months (Gym membership PLUS health premium) and only signed up through pru for the cashback!

Has anyone else had any problem like this???? Please reassure me because I am freaking out
