Remortgaging with YBS

Hi,

I'm hoping to remortgage with YBS this summer onto a long fixed-rate deal. Has who has done this recently got experience of the amount of how inquisitive they are for existing customers compared to new ones?
Slightly nervous as my wife's income has dropped since we originally got the mortgage in 2012 due to having a baby, though mine has risen. On our side is that we have made some small overpayments (approx £1k a year) and our house has 'risen' in value quite a bit since we bought as it is in Greater London.

If you're an existing borrower, it's a customer retention product, not a remortgage.

You should find there are no further status or income checks as a result.
