Help with a christmas present I want to get for my Wife....

Not sure if this is exactly the right forum to ask on but I'll ask anyway, so me and my wife have spent 5 amazing years together, 18 months married and have a child on the way, and I wanted to create a photo book of all the special times we have spent together, but also with a little passage (my own words) underneath/over the top of each photo.
I don't really know what I am googling, its not quite a photo album, its almost like a storybook style album where I can write stuff for each part of our life together, and then hopefully leave something blank for whats to come in 2015.
Any ideas?

Photo box and any of the main photo sites will be your best bet. You upload your photos, design your book, then they send it.
Often they have deals on too0 -

Something like this?
There are lots of things on Not On The Highstreet that might be what you're after, try searching for "photo book" and see what you can find.0 -
I've had some lovely photo gifts from boots. If you search photo book you should find lots of options.
Ps- what a lovely idea, and lovely post!

I did this for my sons 21st birthday.
I bought a beautiful leather bound photo album, (old style with tissue paper between the pages) and put the photos in myself and wrote captions under each photo. I didn't want to trust anyone else with doing it right !
Much cheaper too.0 -
We've used Albelli to do this for my daughter, they've usually got lots of great offers on and I've not had an issue with them.
It's a lovely idea, how thoughtful.0 -
You could make your own? I did this and I think its much more sentimental and nicer than any I could have ever purchased.
I got an empty scrap book / photo album with paper pages, all of the photos I wanted in it, and wrote little messages with it - used decoration stuff like glue-able stars and hearts etc to make the pages look prettier.- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]
- Bank Loan: £12,000 / £14,000

I second making one by yourself - it takes a little bit of time but it's perfect. I bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/SUCK-UK-Life-Story-Diary/dp/B0040Q1UH2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417643096&sr=8-2&keywords=life+story+scrapbook and then filled it in myself for me and my OH, there's cinema stubs, concert tickets, photographs, writing and all sorts in ours and it's huge, really thick - will last you ages and over time you could fill it in together.

I'd second photobox - I made something very similar as a retrospective for my sister with photos and captions and it was great.0
