Hi, I want to buy my sister a new pair of straighteners, but the price tag of GHD's is prohibitive. Can anybody recommend a cheaper alternative?

Hi , I always had GHD's , then my last set died, and I couldnt afford to replace them..in sheer desperation (and after reading reviews) I got myself a Set of Remington colour protect straighteners from Argos...around £24 at the time. Every bit as good as GHD's imo , heat to the same temp, just as quickly.I'm very happy with them, and I'd never pay Ghd prices again.Hope this helps.
