Always Xmas colours for me - red gold and lights.
Though I do like pinks and purples.
Just buy what you like - even snowflakes would look pretty with glass icicles.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
I bought a similar tree last year from Homebase I think.
I decorated it with natural/woodland type decorations in greens, oranges, reds and browns mostly - owls, robins, baubles made of dyed twine, buttons on a string, little toadstools, wooden hearts. Oh, and warm white twinkly lights.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

Ive got a flocked tree, and my decorations are clear baubles full of snow, little fuzzy animals, snowflakes, reindeer, icicles - all in silver clear and white with a hint of scandinavian red and white knitted things here and there, some of my baubles have animals on etc, and some red beads, and a traditional santa on the top with warm white lights, i love it!!0

forgot to say, my walls are warm beige, brown leather settee, red accessories, and i think the tree looks really nice.0

That sounds lovely, you'll have to post a pic in the Christmas Tree thread in the 'Arms'.Over futile odds

My tree is stuck in a time warp! Coloured tree lights, red, green, gold tinsel, red, green, gold baubles, white snowflakes, gingerbread biscuits, red candy canes, gold chocolate baubles, silver lametta, one robin, a giant wired ribbon bow with long trailing ends, a pink fairy on top and then lashings of fake snow

My tree when it goes up is decorated with memories, I like the stuff my mum gave me years ago (mum is now almost gone as she has dementia), things my brats or grandbrats gave given/bought for me and pictures in very small frames of my pets that are no longer with me, there's also a couple of pictures of people being idiots on it, also things that I've knitted go on it. I do stick with clear lights though.0

As you have red accessories, I'd put red on the tree too, maybe with gold, silver or white. I think sticking to no more than 3 colours gives a stylish look overall.0 -
