in Gone off!
Pound Streacher is selling 1kg of tate lyle suger for a mere 49p per bag. My local store says the manager is only allowing customers to purchase six at a time.
There was no sugar on the shelf in the store I visited today, however the manager appeared with nine bags and asked How many I wanted. After being told the price, I asked if I can have all of them, and he agreed.
The cashier informed me a lady came in recently and purchased 30 bags.
I doubt if any shop/store could match/beat this fantastic price.

It's also Tate & Lyle and actually 59p a bag or 2 for £1
However I got 10% OFF using one of their own discount coupons
Spend £25 / £50 / £75 / £100
Save £2.50 / £5 / £7.50 / £10
I spent £50.06
NO limit to my knowledge, nothing displayed, I bought a dozen.

It's not beyond most people. That is one unhealthy lifestyle!
That would depend on what you do with it, or even how long it takes you to eat it.
If you run a cafe/snack van etc. then it is not an unhealthy lifestyle. If you make cakes to sell for charity is not either.
Just because you buy 30 bags of sugar it doesn't mean you are going to eat them all yourself in the same week. The person who bought them might have a large family, or be intending to give some friends/family or even donate them to food banks.
They could even be doing the catering for a wedding etc.
There's only one reason it would be an unhealthy lifestyle (the purchaser eating too much of it themselves), and thousands of reasons why it wouldn't.0 -

As Geordie is saying.
If the deal is a better price than they can get from cash & carries etc.
Small business will bulk up when they see deals like this advertised. I guess they will actively by singed up to sites that let them know about up and coming offers.
It will be the same on many commodity lines like this and ketchup, salt etc.0
