you know if think it is possible i will, i am no stranger to working hard i have worked all my life, even travelled to find work in my youth rather than sit on the dole like some friends i had at the time..... just don`t want to do the wrong thing at this time ,the consequences of making a pigs ear of it could ruin my life basically.0 -
That is not true. The consequences won't ruin your life. You'll just deal with them and come up with a new plan.
Sometimes when we are in an awful place evey option feels like a big risk. That's because we are under stress and we don't want to make things worse. But there are very few decisions in life tart lead down a cul de sac. Most choices open up new options.
If your wife took the job, she might meet another lady that makes dah de dahs as a hobby your wife might join her, make them and start selling them. Sometimes just by getting off our bum new opportunities will open.
Embrace the change. You will feel a lot better just for being more in control. Xx0 -

Great news on your wifes job - I am sure it is the right decision! Like others have said you are the master of your own destiny - It may be hard but hopefully this way you will alos learn how to use money well and become more frugal for ever! so you don't end up in this situation again! (thats what I'm hoping anyway!)0

thanks pal... you are right, can`t wait to get stuck into this.0 -
Good luck. Don't see it as the hard way, see it as an open door and an opportunity to change things! Just think about it, all the "hard work" will be making a real solid contribution towards a better future. I find it quite exciting when I pay off a debt, it's like a step closer to the end!0

Well done obanite! You don't mess around do you. I am proud of you. You will see in a very short time that choosing the hard way will quickly become the easy way. Once you are in control and making decisions about your own life the debt will not matter so much. Xx0
