Cash genie Loans

Hi

I have a repayment arrangement with the above company, I have one payment left of £37.50 to finish my agreement however when I paid my last payment to them last month I noticed they are no longer lending so I am assuming they may be being closed down for whatever reason cashgenieloans dot co dot uk could you please advise if it is worth me still paying my final payment to them, in this financial situation are they likely to write off my outstanding small debt if I do not pay it?? Any help would be appreciated, there is no info as to why they are no longer lending so if anyone has any info on that to it would be helpful, cheers:beer:

  • Even if they stop trading, they can come after you for the money. Pay the £37.50 and be done with them.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.

I agree to just pay what's left and be done with it, you try and not pay whats owed you could be in be in worse trouble than the £37.50.

Why all the fuss of taking such a risk (with any financial company) if you only owe one more payment?

Just pay it and breathe a sigh of relief that the debt is done, dusted and history.

  • I googled cash genie and they seem to be alive and well to me. Pay what you owe and move on.
Nothing to see here, move along.

    Alive, but not well.

However, of course, that doesn't mean they don't want their money. :o

If they go under, the debt will be sold to someone else who will pursue you for it, along with any default charges or whatever accrues. Since you're £37.50 away from clearing it you're as well just doing that so it's done.

I can only echo the other comments here. An account like this one won't go up in smoke just because a company fails - it will simply change hands and the money will still be owed.
