In which watch collection did Omega introduce the new Co-Axial escapement by George Daniels?
    -De Ville
    -De Lieu
    -De Village

I think it's the de ville but not 100% sure

Agree The first Omega watches fitted with co-axial escapements were presented in 1999 as limited editions in the DeVille line

  • Are we not supposed to get a letter with this one.

    Day 2 I answered -

The calender has to be adjusted every 50 years by a watchmaker.

Got a tick so guessing that's right but no letter, it did say I'd entered successfully.

Day 2 prize: Brandtaucher Nautilus - Value: 399€

My answer for day 2 is Leap years are not considered
A normal date feature is simply a mechanism that is triggered once every 24 hours and counts from 1 to 31. If a month has less than 31 days then it needs to be manually adjusted. A perpetual calendar gets around that by ‘knowing’ how many days there are in a month. There are two types of perpetual – the semi perpetual which can handle everything except leap years, and the full perpetual which can also handle the 29th of February.

The trusted watch site is translated into English from German so Half Perpetual = Semi Perpetual
  • eeek! Very sorry if I've given the wrong answer there, I figured as I had a tick and it said I'd enter successful that it was correct.:o

    Tenth Anniversary
I entered using One-Eye's answer and got the red cross. Came off the page and went back to into and there was now a green tick, so looks as if there's a bit of a glitch.
