Evening ladies:
UU to report!
Love in New York shower gel 200ml. WIBA? This was from a cheap gift set I was given last Christmas, did its job, glad it's out of the cupboard.
On to a giant snow fairy for now.
A surprise UU:
Avon Flower by Cynthia Rowley 50ml perfume. WIBA? It's a lovely honeysuckle perfumebut I don't think they make this anymore, I counted before, and its been with me for 5, yes 5 house moves.
Sanctuary Spa body lotion 50ml WIBA? I think I have 2 more of these minis to get through yet.
One small in I forgot about: Loreal age perfect extraordinary oil-cream sample sachet.0 -

Think there was something else but can't quite remember. Did also finish up a body shop blueberry body scrub yesterday. The cupboard is looking a bit bare now but I think I'm still ok for shower gel and body butter for next year!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
One more UU - going so slowy !! - NSPA Pink Grapefruit body butter. Have love/hate relationship with this one hence why it's been a LHJ. Sometimes it smells synthetic and others not. Loved the texture of it but not sure I'll buy again.
So, I ended up talking MrM into buying one of the S&G OOTW between me and Emma. So looking forward to opening that on Xmas day plus he went off shopping on his own in the Trafford Centre yesterday. Think he had found a good Elemis kit containing PCMC.
Got a lovely free gift from Liz Earle at weekend. Ordered 3 x shower gels for MrM and as well as the usual 30ml free C&P got a kit containing 50ml C&P, 50ml IBST and 15ml Skin Repair Moisturiser and cloths. Really chuffed - the kit on their website costs £32.00.
Didn't buy any other toiletries at the weekend.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

A few more UUs -
Lancome Bi Facial 30ml - got quite a few more of these left in my stash to use up.
Organic pharmacy antioxidant face cream 3ml sachet 3ml WNBA
L'occitane divine extract sachet 1ml WNBA
Clinique all about eyes 7ml - WDBA, absolutely love the texture of this one
decanted some of the sachets I have multiples of into tubs last night to try and make them last a bit longer - looked a right nutter doing it but hopefully that should make them a bit more economical.
Hope you all have a lovely week!0 -
Looking at my list of toiletries (including all the ones I've no idea why I bought them) has made me think about what I'd call essential purchases if I were starting from scratch. This is ideally what I'd like to end up having in the house, plus probably 1 spare of each item.
The list I came up with was- 1 shampoo
- 1 conditioner
- 1 unscented shower gel
- 3 soaps
- 3 deodorants
- 3 day creams
- 3 bottles of toner
- 3 toothbrushes
- 3 tubes toothpaste
- 2 night creams
- 3 small bottles Argan hair oil (only thing that stops the ends of my hair getting very dry very quickly)
- 3 bottles hand wash
- 1 bag of cotton pads
- 2 tubs of cotton buds
- 4 sponges
- 1 tube hair removal cream
Plus- 2 boxes of tissues for bedroom and living room
- travel packs of tissues for 3 backpacks and 1 coat
- a bottle of eyedrops (hopefully remembering to move these between bags - much more cost efficient that lots of open bottles that get binned while still at least half full)
- emery boards for bedroom, living room and travel wash bag (and 1 in each of 2 larger backpacks)
- hair elastics (kept in en-suite with a couple in cloakroom and travel wash bag)
- 3 hairbrushes for en-suite, cloakroom and travel wash bag
- 1 wide toothed comb for swim kit
- 1 box of hair dye
- 1 bottle of (not too expensive) perfume
- 1 mascara (the only makeup I wear more than once or twice a year, and even that's probably not more than once a month!)
- 1 tub baby talc for en-suite

I have some INs
I succumbed when Christmas shopping.
I replaced the Colab dry shampoo with two big bottles - cheaper, on offer, and not available in my town's branch so not a bad thing to stock up on.
I also found a Burt's Bees gift set down from £50 to £17.50 and decided to gift it to myself...
+2 Colab dry shampoo
+1 Burt's Bees Shower gel
+1 Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser
+1 Burt's Bees Milk and Honey Body Lotion
+1 Burt's Bees Hand Repair Cream
+1 Burt's Bees Beeswax vitamin E & peppermint lip balm
+1 Burt's Bees Rhubarb Lip Shimmer
I did GA one brown kohl pencil because I've got quite a few already, and my mum is going lighter and it I thought it would suit her better. She's happy!
I'm also going to GA to charity a couple of nail polishes that don't suit me. And I'm never going to buy OPI or Essie again! Essie just seem to be poor quality every time I try them.0
