Jurys Inns Twitter win

Thank you Katie L. I won the weekly freebie Friday Jurys Inn comp. Assuming this one, although they haven't actually said yet. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5124023 :j

last week I used one of those tweet delete programmes to clear my twitter account of all old tweets. Thought I'd messed it up totally but last night after entering loads just before 5pm I had my first twitter win since July. Could just be a coincidence but I will be clearing out regularly now and trying to enter as late as possible.

Well done. What is the tweet delete program that you use? I might have to give that a go.

  • Well, there is no evidence to suggest it makes any difference Marg and you need to be brave, but decided as my Tw wins had ground to a halt I had nothing to lose and followed the first link suggested here which was tweetdelete.. http://www.ahemahem.com/delete-all-tweets-at-once/1267/ there are many but this was the 1st one I managed to get working and I had to select to "delete all my existing tweets before activation" to get it to work. Like I say could just be coincidence, we will never know, but ....

I've also been having a clear out to reduce the amount I'm following as read somewhere that it may not be such a good idea to be following 2000 either.. again no evidence to suggest but other than becoming a blogger its always worth a try if you are not winning. If you are then I'd be tempted to adopt the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" approach. :D
