Leftover box in the freezer ?

What worries me about this is putting the new additions to the already frozen food.
there will be a layer of already frozen food, if you add something on top of it, especially if it something wet like gravy then you must also have an effect on the temperature of the frozen foods top layer, once thats raised, bugs will start to multiply.
in turn if something then gets put on top of that in the same manner thats even more bugs.
if thats what the neighbour wants to do, then thats fine but she needs to be taking a few more steps to ensure its safely stored.
this could be freezing separately and once its frozen adding to the leftover box but I wouldnt risk just adding straight to it, its asking for trouble.0 -

I'd have thought room-temperature leftovers put on top of frozen foods in presumably a fairly small layer, and put in the freezer straight away, would chill pretty quickly rather than have enough time to heat the frozen food up.0
