2nd Charge Bad Debt - Help!

Hi,
I need some advice/help.
We are currently undergoing a repossession which resulted due to my husband being off on long term leave with mental health issues. It's been a case of burying the head in the sand. We've come to an agreement with the lender that they will halt all action on the payment of a figure 33% of the arrears - which we want to do.
We've a large amount of equity in the house that we want to release to clear the arrears and get us back on track however we are struggling to find a lender that will help.
It is affordable and our lender is happy going forward to accept a low repayment plan over the balance of the mortgage term.
Has anyone got any good contacts that will be able to help?
Thank you in advance.

If you are struggling to find a lender then perhaps the matter isn't so clear cut as you imagine.0
