Credit checked after a month of having full mortgage offer!!!

Hi guys,
Just checked my experian report today randomly and saw a mortgage quotation there from the halifax! I received my amended mortgage offer from them in October. I thought there will be no more further credit checks apart from the ones near completion... Anyone else ever had this?
P.s just like to add that my solicitor faxed over a letter to the halifax on Saturday and the halifax instructed the valuer to look over something regarding a unilateral notice against the property.
Do you think this is the reason a further credit check was done as my case is being looked at again?

Every time something happens its checkedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
