Someone has been signing me up for emails/catalogs?

This is a really odd, just thought I'd share although not really worried about it much. I had River Island email me and thank me for signing up the other day although I never have done. Then I had park send me confirmation of a catalog I had requested, that they are posting out to me. I've never been on park! Then just now I've had wimbledon sports or something thank me for signing up to their emails.
I know I havn't done this as I havn't been comping hardly at all all November. So this all a bit strange! I just don't get what anyone would get out of using my name/details to sign up to these things? :rotfl:

Years and years ago, we started getting hearing aid catalogues through the post, addressed to my husband (then only in his 30s). Hadn't a clue where they came from, but came to the conclusion that some wag in his work must have thought it would be funny to sign him up to something like that.0

There are some very sneaky tickboxes on some comps. The daily mags tickboxes can be very ambiguous. I get stuff from Catalink even though I'm always careful to tick no.0

Funnily enough Sax your message reminded me of an old friend I had some time back, my friends all fell out with her and out of spite we sent round a couple of random catalogs, nothing too racey, incontinance pants that sort of thing. I know, horrible thing that I am, we knew junk mail would wind her up, but it gave us a good giggle for about a week ...
