BCW / Mackenzie hall question

I've also been receiving phone calls from Mackenzie Hall since August 2014. I eventually got a letter informing me of the original creditor. It turns out to be a finance company I bought a Sofa through back in 1995!!! (twenty years ago now). I wrote back with the letter template I found on here referring to the debt being Statute Barred etc & giving them 28 days to provide proof also to conduct all future dealings in writing.
No reply, just continued phone calls, sometimes 5 a day. I complained to the FSO who sent me a complaint form. Which I duly filled in & returned. The phone calls continue. I invested in a call blocker but they keep changing their number to get round this. I was also called on my payg mobile so had to get that number changed:mad:.
To bring this up to date. This morning I received a letter from a company calling itself PRA Group. which in small print says Mackenzie Hall. Telling me that this debt has just been assigned to them from Ativ Kapital as of Nov 2014 , which also turns out to be part of Mackenzie Hall.
