I've been lucky enough to inherit some Le Creuset pans/casseroles from my Mum, we bought them in France in the late 1970's. The frying pan is wonderful but they are very heavy.

Never ever pay full price for Le Creuset.

I've bought pieces from Amazon, TK Maxx, House of Fraser all half price or less, and the main department stores regularly offer 20% off the whole range during their sales.
