Need advice please.
I was dropping my other half off at the station in Kidbrooke, and stopped on the double yellow lines. I then ran into the shop and by the time I got out exactly 5 minutes later there was a parking charge notice on my windscreen.
Notice says parked on double yellow lines.
How do I appeal this, I took photos of all the signs around where my car was stopped and there is not one sign where I stopped that says no parking/stopping, there is signs further down the road but not where I stopped.
Also the fact that this Parking Guy must have been watching the car and pounced. Are they not supposed to give you a le-way to move your car.
What grounds do I have to stand, I have successfully appealed these cowboys before (different company), but that was some time ago, so not sure if there are any new rules.
Thanks
Jennifer

Should I also appeal to the landowners as from memory this morning, the only parking spaces available are for disabled or for the other buildings in the area, none for the actual shop I visited.0

I did read through and understand to wait for the NTK letter. To send a response as the Keeper and not the driver.
However are there any rules/laws about me stopping on the yellow lines and the fact there was no signs (photos taken by my partner) No other parking for that shop. & do I send a letter to the owners of the land (who would it be as its a road which buses/other vehicles use etc)0 -
I wouldn't bother to complain in this instance as the ownership isn't clear - it it station land at the entrance to the station car park, or is it away from the station?
P4Parking are a joke anyway, look!

' Isuing a Parking Charge Notice to iligaly parked vehicles is the only viable option.'

Strange that the website doesn't mention the BPA or the IPC...!
Wait for the NTK or whatever rubbish first letter they get a debt collector to send, THEN appeal as per the Newbies thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Its a road...the station carpark is being built on, and this road is a public road etc. I did phone Berkley homes to find out who has employed these cowboys as Berkley are the ones who are building the estate up etc, and its there name on the no parking signs around the estate. The lady I spoke to said that even they get tickets from them, so I just am going to send in my appeal as per etc and go from there.0

Yes but you are not appealing yet, are you. As already advised.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No after 21 days, or whenever I receive the NTK0

I would wait for whatever letter arrives in the New Year. Just safely file away the PCN and wait. It will likely be a silly debt collector letter but the first letter is the cue for the keeper to appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
