Restus Crystal pocket 3000 mattress

Hi all,
Currently on the lookout for a new mattress. Money is tight, but would rather spend a bit more if it means it's something that will last.
After doing a lot of reading online, I came across a few threads on here where someone called Pinkypants advocates a Restus Crystal pocket 3000. He/she seems really knowledgeable and appear to give good advice.
Although it's a bit more than we'd ideally want to spend, after reading everything, it seems it would be worth it for something that we're going to sleep on every night.
I am wary though that not many places seem to stock this mattress and am also unsure of Pinkypants' motives (do they work for Restus?!). I read with interest some threads where a guy called Tim Deegan flogged a lot of cheap mattresses by recommending them on here, and they turned out not to be that great and his company went bust.
Can anyone that's had a Crystal pocket for a while put my mind at rest? I'm also open to alternative suggestions if anyone has any.
Also, some of the threads about the Crystal pocket 3000 are quite old. Is the advice still true or are there newer/better models out there?
Thanks,
Andrew
