Glad to hear your scan went well SF. Hopefully the remaining weeks won't go by too slowly.
#225 declaring £439.97 for June. Bad month due to car insurance (ouch), stag do and, yes, another holiday booked. This time for the bank holiday weekend at the end of August. That is it for now though! Off to update the spreadsheet.0 -
Great news SF, not long now, you must be so excited. Thanks for keeping us all updated.
Early payday this month so I'm declaring £1320 for June. I'm actually disappointed with this, which goes to show how much this thread has changed me! A year ago it would've been a massive achievement. I had another unexpected tuition fees bill so it's not as if I wasted the money. Still disappointed though! I think July will be expensive too unfortunately.Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870

Glad to hear everything is going well SF.
As I'm currently moving flat and job I'm going to have to put my saving on hold for a month or two; especially as I'm paying two lots of rent next month.
However after that I should be a lot better off; I've got a 6% increase in salary at my new job; plus moving in with girlfriend so will be saving on rent + bills. Also new place is in the midlands so should be a hopefully cheaper area to live in than my current area.
This challenge has been a great incentive to save; and without it I'm sure I would be struggling a lot more during this transition.
Looking forward to seeing what I'll be able to save from August; keep up the great work everyone.# 047 'Save 12K in 2019' - £6,346.86 / £12,000 55.89%# 074 'Save 12K in 2015' - £4,379.25 / £4,000 109.48%0 -

Payday today for OH and me so just worked out our finances. £250 has gone into my stocks and shares isa and we are keeping the other £750 in Santander 123 account to make £1k saved for June. Update form has been submitted.
We actually have a further £1367 in the reserve fund from this year so far so have also left that in our 123 account to keep in emergency savings. Holiday paid for this year so that is last big expense for 2015. Santander 123 getting perilously close to the £20k limit now though so will need to find another account to put our instant access savings into from July.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Payday today, my favorite thing about payday used to be being able to buy things, but now it is logging into online banking and doing my savings transfer. So £500 this month, which takes my saving account to £2500 a quarter of my deposit contribution goal.£10 a day 2015 Oct £131.38/£310
