Guilt-Free Shopping?

I went to one of those designer outlet places yesterday, and did pick up a few bargains, within my budget, and within the bounds of what I thought I would buy before I went.

But the slogan of the place worries me. It is 'Welcome to the World of Guilt-Free Shopping'.

Now, maybe I'm being too sensitive about this, but in the sort of society we have that is currently however many billions of pounds in debt, I wonder if they have taken a responsible attitude? What they seem to be saying is 'come to us, and you can spend whatever you like - because it all cheaper, you don't need to worry about it'.

It's the sort of logic that says 'this is half price so I can buy two....'

Just wanted to post and ask what the wording would say to other people?

are you sure it wasn't meant in a 'fair trade' basis ?? ie 'ethical 'shopping.

Only if people like Reebok are particularly ethical...... so no, I don't think so.
