Good morning everyone
redruby - I'm so so sorry to hear about little dog but I hope you will take some comfort for definitely doing the kindest thing for her. I pray the pain will fade and only happy memories remain xxx
Well, I am still not sleeping properly so things are going a bit haywire here. I'm seeing and hearing things again so I need to see my psychiatrist sooner rather than later, I know it's just because I'm so overtired, I wish I knew what was causing it though. Hubby has booked a few days off work so that will help.
I am making an Appledore water roast for tea, basically it's a stew/casserole done in the oven with roasties added. Really looking forward to that, and I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning and it's all looking rather promising. I am still focussed on regaining my health and the thought of maybe getting a puppy sometime near the end of next year is spurring me on.
I'm expecting lots of parcels over the next couple of days as my hubby has finally started his shopping. I'm trying hard not to look at the packages too closely as I love surprises. I have nearly finished mine now, just ordered a couple of games to play over Christmas and a new jigsaw puzzle so that will keep us busy I hope.
Well, that's all my waffling for today, hope everyone manages to have a good day whatever they are up to and special hugs to redruby, take care xx0 -

Redruby, I am so sorry you had to let Little Dog go. You loved her so much that you did the kindest thing for her, because you didn't want her to suffer.
Sending you and the family hugs and I hope you will have lots of happy memories of her.
Much love

Sorry to hear your sad news, RedRuby.
Very dark and wet drive to work, and looks like it will be the same on the way back. Quite busy at work today, so at least it goes quickly. Got some gifts in Boots 3for2 at lunchtime. DS16 managed to get himself to GP's surgery for his blood test earlier.
Dinner is in slowcooker, have sent DS13 instructions to turn it on to warm up. Looking forward to having a wander round the market tomorrow, feel I should support it but am usually at work on market day.0 -
Afternoon all,
RedRuby - Very sad for you all xx
What a dull, drizzly day it's been and now the fog has arrived to top it all off!
Went to the Dobbies butcher this morning to stock the freezer, then went to see dad before going to work. Went back to Dobbies after work as I had forgotten to pick up a leaflet on Afternoon teas. Bought a couple of bits in Tesco and donated some foodstuffs to the FoodBank people who were there collecting.
Sausages for tea followed by a trifle cheesecake I picked up in Iceland yesterday. Naughty but possibly nice0 -

It is the dog of my work colleague who died last week. I offered to help in any way I could and was asked to look after their little dog whilst the funeral, etc takes place. He is a Westie and as good as gold.
Redruby (((HUG))) I am so very sorry; I felt like I knew Little Dog, although I never actually met her.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Off to a meeting tonight with our local councillors in attendance. No good moaning about issues if your not prepared to speak out. We have issues about boarded up shops close by as the owners are recluses and refuse to sell. Personally, ive got issues to sort out of my own outside my property.
Youngest said he's coming with me. That will be fun. I'll be on the cola whilst he's drinking pints. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just a quick pop back to say how sorry I am about RR's doggie. At least she's out of her misery.0
