Advice on setting up a new DD amount
ferry
Following advice from SC I need to set up a new DD with our energy suppliers for a lesser amount than we are currently paying.
Do I just cancel the current DD and ask for a new form from British Gas or can I just adjust the amount to be taken via my bank?
Thanks as usual

You need to agree a new monthly amount with British Gas that they can take. If you can't agree then maybe you should contact your bank and revoke the direct debit and set up a standing order instead, at least that way you'd have more control.
