Dear all,
This is my first post on this forum, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone here for the easy-to-follow advice on dealing with a parking ticket from ParkingEye.
I had sent off the appeal letter but hadn't even thought of complaining to the Marriott Hotel until I read advice on here. Yesterday evening I sent off a passionate email, and today I have had a phone call to say my ticket will be cancelled.
I am so pleased I decided to fight it rather than just pay - fair enough I should have paid to park, but charging a £100 fee for not doing so (and I obviously didn't mean to park without paying) is bang out of order.
So thank you all, and good luck in your endeavours to appeal your fines.
