Help! I have 2 teenage girls to buy for - 16 and 14. Both really into their looks and use expensive products. Always have the latest phone and tablets etc. Have about £20-£25 to spend. I don't really want to buy vouchers. Any ideas? Their mum says to 'get them whatever'.

Benefit sets are a good idea - larger Boots stores have a few to choose from, plus instore they have a pick n mix bar - you pick 4 mini products from their best-selling make-up ranges, and you get a free Benefit giftbox or stocking (subject to availability) to pack them in, total price £15.

Benefit They're Real and Badlash mascara sets are popular and should be under £20.

eta - I see you got their pressies codemonkey, well done on getting a bargain!
  • My 16 year old DS' girly friends go mad for Soap & Glory. He's bought 3 £20 gift sets from Boots on 3 for 2 so they work out at £13.33 each. I have to say I don't usually think that the gift sets at full price are worth the money but I am quite impressed with this one and even better for £13.33:

my teenage girls love soap and glory too - but i buy the gift sets in the 70% off Boots sale in mid-January so they get loads for the money come christmas time :).

  • Last year I made my 16 year old sister a pamper hamper for £30 using a 40% off code for The Body Shop and then buying giftsets from Superdrug and removing the bottles from the packaging to put in the giftbox (£3 from Paperchase and can double-up as a storage box).

From The Body Shop I got some soap, a bath "lilac", two lip balms, body lotion and a face cleanser, then I got some shower gel and some more lip balms from Superdrug, a bath dissolving thing from Lush, and a small bar of chocolate from Hotel Chocolat.

The 40% off meant that I only paid just over £12 for all the Body Shop stuff (plus £3 P&P), and off the top of my head the two Superdrug things were around £3 or £4 each.

She loved it but she's using stuff very slowly so I need to think of something else this year XD
  • One of the Benefit sets for sure and if you're quick you can get a Black Monday 15% discount on them (I've seen House of Fraser and Debenhams offering this). Or one present I really loved was a set of the big 750ml bottles of Tigi Bed Head Shampoo & Conditioner. They look and smell great as well as lasting forever and being really popular with young people- they also look like a substantial gift because they're so big! I've seen them for about £25 in TK Maxx but I managed to get a set for £19 off of All Beauty this Christmas for my teenage sister. You could also check out Regis Salon (an MSE discovery, thank you news letter) where I got an incredible bargain- the big bottles for £9! Good luck.
