The queues in most Post Offices are already far too long, and equally slow moving. This can only make things worse.

Royal Mail/Parcelforce have always provided a great service round here, always leaving stuff somewhere sensible.

DPD are great, too - with their 1 hour timeslot. Amazon Logistics delivered pretty much everything for a couple of weeks but we seem to be back to RM, Citylink (always awful) and DPD again now.

If Amazon can get home delivery right, no need for PO delivery in many cases, but Amazon Logistics, which ought to have been the best, actually proved to be the worst.

I don't know if anybody on here lives in Basildon, Essex
in the town the post office as just moved to WHSmiths what a joke
the old PO use to be quite big but now it like a back room In WHS
the queues are far worse than before they have even taken the Cash Machine away which helped a bit

Now with the Amazon parcel pick-up i'm sure the queues will be out the door and in the town centre

Money grabbing gits the PO if they don't make enough millions by keep increasing the postage charges.

If only you understood what was wrong with your final statement.
