Allesley Hotel Wedding reception concerns

Hi,
We have been looking for wedding venues and wanted something a little different than the usual marquee.
We found the Allesley Hotel that seems to suit most of our needs. I am a bit concious that the hotel doesn't seem to be very busy day to day and the guy is doing a bit of a hard sell. I don't trust people doing the hard sell but really like the room.
What can I do to ensure I won't get surprised with any additional costs?
Currently for day food for 100, and evening food for 170 a third of a bottle per person on the table, 2 glasses of fizz a DJ it come 7K
Any opinions?
Also if anyone has any experience with a wedding here please let me know how it went.
