Could someone help me find...

Options
a chart/graph of BofE interest rates over the past 30 years or whatever. I'm just curious to see what it's been over the years.

I honestly have no idea if the current base rate is average, high, low, or what. (I'm from another country, is why.)

    Wow. Rates were 10% or greater for several long periods.

    Savers would have been raking it in, but then inflation would have been destroying the value of their capital in real terms as well.

    Excellent point.But way back in '79 my main concern was that my weekly edition of Battle comic would arrive.If only life were so simple now.:o
