Conditional job offer. Advice re health questionnaire?

Options
Hi,

I just got a phonecall offering me a job I was interviewed for yesterday and I'm thrilled as it's an interesting job and better paid than anything I've had before. It's conditional on good references and an occupational health assessment based on a health questionnaire I submitted.

My worry is that I had a lot of time off last year; three months with depression and a couple of small problems like ear infections. I was wondering if anyone had any views on how this might harm my chances? I made it clear that the bout of depression was resolved with counselling and that I finished taking tablets six months ago but I'm really worried that this will ruin everything. What looks worse is that one of the things I learnt at the time was that my job was making me miserable so six weeks after returning to work I left.

I'd be interested in anyones thoughts on this so thanks in advance.

I was in a similar position, told the truth, said I'd been treated with counselling and medication and did'nt believe it would be a problem in the future. I got the job!!
