Hi,
Need some advice please.
I (along with 76 colleagues) were made redundant on 14th October and the company officially went into liquidation on 13th November.
We have just found out that the Pension contribution that was deducted from our October (and final) wages have never been paid to Aviva. Nor did the company pay Aviva their contributions which was a condition in our contracts.
Aviva have not been listed as one of the Creditors.
Is this legal? If not is there any course of action we can take considering the company is now in liquidation - we were part of a Group and the Head Office based in Bedford is still operating as normal.

Perhaps talk to Aviva and let them know the situation?0

Aviva were the ones who alerted us - someone phoned them up to chase final statement and it was then they said they hadn't received any contributions since September and they weren't even aware that the company was in liquidation0

Speak to the liquidators. Unpaid pension contributions can be claimed from the Redundancy Payments Office.0
