I am travelling to London tomorrow (urgent, unplanned visit)
What is the best option for a ticket, to cover all zones 1 - 6 ?
My 'very early' Monday morning journey into London centre, will involve a bus, overground train, then 2 different Underground journeys.
I think a travelticke tis the best option, but can this be bought on the bus (at 06:30 MOnday)
What other option is there please ?
The return trip at the end of the day will obviously be the same .. underground, underground, overground, bus
Perhaps some more short Underground trips will be made during the day
thank you

You cannot buy any ticket of any kind on a London bus
You best option if you have one is to use a contactless credit or debit card.
Second best option if you can get one is an Oyster card - there may be a 'ticket stop' in a newsagent or similar near your first bus stop that could be open early. Put enough PAYG money on it for a travel card - it will turn out less. There will be a £5 deposit, but you can get that back - probably by posting it in - or keep it for a future visit
Third best option would be a taxi or walk to your overground station (question - do you mean 'overground' the TfL brand or just surface rail?) where you should be able to get your desired travelcard, possibly from a machine if it's too early for the ticket office0 -

Chingford station ... for travel to Liverpool Street
Train time ... about 07:00 - 07:300 -
The nearest place you can get an Oyster Card is
Waltham Wines
72 Sewardstone Road, Chingford, London E4 7PR
As your journey is on Monday, nip round there sharpish and get yourself an Oyster card.
Then do as advised by dzug10 -
WLM21, all the information you are now asking for was given to you four days ago on your other thread:
...but you appear to have not even noticed that.
Your visit is not unplanned. You knew about it on Tuesday, if not before.0 -

Agreed. By far the best option if you have a contactless card, no need for deposits or having left over unused credit on Oyster. Just make sure you use the same card for all journeys, and TfL will automatically calculate if a travelcard would have been cheaper and cap your daily charge accordingly.0 -

Any UK issued debit or credit card (Visa, MC, Maestro, Amex) with the contactless symbol should work. Depends how old your current cards are, older ones may not have contactless enabled. Some cards issued outside the UK should also work. You can find all the details of what they accept here
