Coach from airport and delays

Hi
Does anyone know what happens if I book a National Express coach ticket from the airport and the flight is delayed? I read there is a £5 surcharge but how is this paid? And what happens if the next coach is full?
Thanks

You pay it at the National Express ticket office - or the driver. The driver only takes cash
If you buy a flexible ticket (on an airport service) then the change is without charge
If the next coach is full you wait for the one after that0 -
Thanks... may need to pay the extra for a flexible ticket I think, as my daughter is arriving at Heathrow having travelled from New Zealand, so will give her peace of mind.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
