Coach from airport and delays

Hi

Does anyone know what happens if I book a National Express coach ticket from the airport and the flight is delayed? I read there is a £5 surcharge but how is this paid? And what happens if the next coach is full?

Thanks

You pay it at the National Express ticket office - or the driver. The driver only takes cash

If you buy a flexible ticket (on an airport service) then the change is without charge

If the next coach is full you wait for the one after that

Thanks... may need to pay the extra for a flexible ticket I think, as my daughter is arriving at Heathrow having travelled from New Zealand, so will give her peace of mind.
