Im with Natwest and have been for 8 years with my mortgage. Looking to switch products. When we originally got our mortgage with them there wasn't the rigorous process there is now. If we switch products will we go thought the full process??

Many thanks

You can access what mortgage products Natwest will offer you online.

Do you have concerns over being credit checked?

It's the whole affortabilty thing as I have cc's that my other half isn't aware of but I'm paying them off fine and there's no need for him to know or worrybhim.

I've no ccjs and paid on time and my credit report looks fine as far as I can see. So was really wondering what the process was to switch products, not borrowing any more and not extending the term, just a better deal really....

    Thank you :-)

Why don't you look at the NatWest website for existing customers and see what is on offer and what process you have to go through;-

Thanks :-) at the time of writing my last reply I couldn't find the info I was looking for. I've found it now and it's answered my question and put my mind at ease.

My other half was wanting to also put a home improvement loan of £15000 onto the remortgage but think I've talked him out of it as we'd pay much more interest interest in end up and we can comfortably pay it off and switching products would help further by reducing our monthly payment slightly and no faffing around with all the extra paperwork :-)

    Thank you :-)
